Why Google reviews decide who AI recommends

AI tools name clinics with a deep review record far more often. A steady ask, after every visit, is the work.

Patients ask ChatGPT, Gemini, or Google for a clinic. The answer comes back as a few names. When we look at who got named, the review count is hard to ignore.

Insites studied 10,000 U.S. businesses in 2026. Businesses that AI tools recommended averaged 133 Google reviews. The ones AI never mentioned averaged 11. That is one study, and it matches what we see when we test clinic questions ourselves.

Why a review count moves the answer

An AI tool does not sit in your treatment room. It reads what the public can read. A long line of recent Google reviews says people went, and many of them were willing to say so. Eleven reviews says the clinic might be new, quiet, or simply not asking.

Replying matters too. A clinic that answers every review, in the language the patient wrote, looks awake. A clinic that never answers looks closed, even when the front desk is excellent.

What does not work

Buying a burst of reviews, or begging once a year, makes a spike and then a stall. Patients can feel the difference between a real record and a push. We do not do that. We set up a request that goes out after a visit, patient by patient, and we reply to every review.

The other signals still have to be there. A complete Google Business Profile. Bing Places. Treatment pages in English and Spanish. The same name, address, and phone everywhere. Reviews are the strongest signal we have found. They are not the only one.

How long it takes

First fixes go live in 2 to 4 weeks. A review record builds over 60 to 90 days. That is why Found & Chosen starts with a 3 month minimum, then goes month to month. Each month you get a KPI report: new reviews, profile completeness, how often you show up in AI answers, and calls from Google.

We will not promise a rank. We will show you the numbers. See the packages or book a free call and we will run your questions live.
